NWFF Environmental uses 24 hour dispatchers. This feature provides the ability to respond promptly to spill emergencies, even to begin mobilizing within one hour. We can personally handle any type of incident in the Pacific Northwest with the right personnel and equipment.  We also network with competent, certified contractors throughout the nation to deal with emergencies outside of our local area.

 

NWFF Environmental maintains a fleet of ready-response vehicles that are equipped to handle any oil or chemical spills that may occur. We can rapidly mobilize these resources to perform a wide variety of hazardous materials response functions ranging from level A (serious) to D (minor). Our equipment and personnel provide our clients with rapid, thorough, and financially competitive means to effectively deal with any spill problem that may arise.

 

The U.S. Coast Guard has officially certified NWFF Environmental as an Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO) for inland water environments (river / canal) in both Captain of the Port Zones of Portland and Puget Sound. Additionally, the Washington State Department of Ecology also certifies NWFF Environmental as a Primary Response Contractor.

NWFF Environmental offers at no additional cost Spill Response Agreements, which are prearranged authorizations for  NWFF Environmental to respond on behalf of any given client in the case of an emergency.

We also offer “dedicated response” service to incidents that may occur. This service allows us to mobilize and respond at a faster rate than normal. This can save the client money in the long run by containing and eliminating a spill before it gets too large.
